The Journal of Indonesian and Malay World Studies is a double-blind, peer-reviewed academic journal published and managed by Elkuator Research and Publication. The journal is produced in academic collaboration with IAIN Pontianak, which supports its scholarly activities but does not hold ownership or publishing rights. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing high-quality research on Indonesia and the Malay world studies. The journal provides a platform for scholars and practitioners to present original articles based on library research and/or empirical studies that offer significant theoretical, methodological, or empirical contributions and demonstrate clear relevance to the Indonesian and/or Malay worlds. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, studies on history, culture, and identity; religion, art, and cultural heritage; social change, law, and community studies; manuscripts, rituals, and local knowledge; education, language, and literature. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s aims and scope will not be considered for peer review.
