Basmala: Journal of Qur’an and Hadith is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing rigorous scholarship in Qur’anic and Hadith studies. The journal provides a platform for theoretically grounded, methodologically sound, and critically engaged research that contributes to global academic discourse. The journal welcomes original research employing diverse approaches, including historical-critical, philological, literary, hermeneutical, anthropological, codicological, and digital methodologies. It encourages both normative and critical perspectives, provided that they adhere to international standards of academic integrity, methodological transparency, and analytical depth. Basmala aims to foster interdisciplinary engagement and comparative scholarship, situating Qur’an and Hadith studies within broader conversations in Late Antiquity, scriptural studies, intellectual history, and contemporary social contexts. |
