The Journal of Quranic Media Studies is a double-blind, peer-reviewed academic journal published and managed by Elkuator Research and Publication. The journal is produced in academic collaboration with IAIN Pontianak, which supports its scholarly activities but does not hold ownership or publishing rights. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing high-quality and interdisciplinary scholarship on the dynamic relationship between the Qur’an and media in contemporary contexts. The journal provides a platform for scholars and practitioners to publish original articles based on library research and/or empirical studies that offer significant theoretical, methodological, or empirical contributions to the fields of Qur’anic studies, media, and communication. It particularly encourages innovative and critical approaches to understanding how media technologies reshape the interpretation, circulation, reception, and authority of the Qur’anic text across global contexts. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars worldwide and promotes cross-disciplinary dialogue within Qur’anic studies, media and communication, and related disciplines. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s aims and scope will not be considered for peer review.
