It is with great honor that we present Manuscripta Islamica, an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the study, preservation, and dissemination of all Islamic manuscripts, with a particular emphasis on the rich and diverse traditions of Southeast Asia and the Nusantara region. Founded as a platform for scholarly exchange, the journal addresses key areas of research in philology, codicology, textual transmission, conservation, and digital humanities. Manuscripta Islamica welcomes original research on the historical, material, intellectual, and cultural dimensions of Islamic manuscripts, including textual studies, cataloguing, preservation practices, digitization, and investigations of manuscript production and circulation. The journal provides a professional forum for scholars, librarians, collectors, and students worldwide, fostering interdisciplinary research and international collaboration in Islamic manuscript studies.
