Aim |
Journal of Religion and Decoloniality (JRD) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal committed to advancing critical scholarship at the intersection of religion, spirituality, and decolonial thought. The journal explores how religious traditions, theological frameworks, and spiritual practices are implicated in, and can respond to, histories and structures of coloniality. JRD seeks to foreground perspectives that challenge dominant epistemologies and uplift marginalized, indigenous communities and subaltern ways of knowing. It is particularly interested in contributions that interrogate the entanglements of religion with power, race, gender, and global systems of domination, as well as those that offer emancipatory, decolonial alternatives. |
