Reviewer Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to the Hadith and Social Culture Studies undergo an initial screening for thematic relevance and alignment with the journal’s aims and scope. Reviewers are requested to conduct an objective, critical, and constructive assessment based on the criteria outlined below.

Title

The title should be concise, clear, and reflective of the article’s main argument or key findings, while indicating its relevance to Qur'an and Hadith studies.

Abstract

The abstract should be written in a single paragraph of 150–250 words and should clearly state the research purpose, methodology, main findings, and scholarly contribution.

Keywords

Keywords should consist of 3–6 words or phrases that represent the main concepts of the article and are relevant to Qur'an and Hadith studies.

Introduction

The introduction should ideally consist of 4–6 paragraphs covering the research background, research gap, state of the art, and an explicit statement of the article’s main argument or scholarly contribution.

Methodology

The methodology should be presented in 2–3 paragraphs and must clearly explain the research type, data sources, data collection techniques, and analytical framework used in the study.

Results and Discussion

This section should present the core analysis of the article, engage with relevant theories and previous studies, and clearly explain the theoretical, practical, or legal implications of the findings where applicable.

Conclusion

The conclusion should be presented in 2–3 paragraphs. It should be reflective and argumentative, highlighting the article’s scholarly contribution, main findings, limitations, and possible directions for future research.

Bibliography

The bibliography should contain a sufficient number of relevant scholarly sources. At least 50% of the references should come from reputable academic publications, including recent literature published within the last 10 years where appropriate.

Recommendation

Reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions: Accept Submission, Revisions Required, Resubmit for Review, Resubmit Elsewhere, Decline Submission, or See Comments.
