Aim

Archipelago Journal of Anthropology Development (AJAD) focuses on the intersections of culture, power, and development in Southeast Asia contexts. It publishes interdisciplinary research that critically examines development processes while promoting community-based, culturally grounded, and sustainable alternatives. The journal welcomes ethnographic, theoretical, and policy-oriented contributions addressing issues such as heritage, tourism, livelihood, governance, and environmental change
